Data and GDPR

This page explains how we deal with people’s data, and what to do if you’re not happy.

The first thing to do is to check to see if actually we have got any data on you. Increasingly now, our clients are rightfully very protective of their customers’ data, so instead of giving us your data, they send you a link to our site – you turn up at our ‘front door’ but we dont know who you are.

If we have got your data, them we’ve probably got it in one of two ways:
– a recruiter has contacted you and invited you along to one of our groups
– one of our clients has shared your details with us. This is rare, but not illegal. They are allowed to do this, as market research constitutes a legitimate business interest, just so long as you haven’t opted out, and we don’t try and sell you anything.

Either way, if you’re not happy about companies having your data you should get in touch with them first (they are the “Data Controllers”). For the most part we just act as their agents.
